Acceptance
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or using EdgeFocus, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, and you may submit information only for yourself or for someone you are legally authorized to represent.
What EdgeFocus does
EdgeFocus scans for possible online exposure of personal information, helps request cleanup or removal where available, verifies removals, tracks status, and monitors for reappearance. EdgeFocus is a privacy technology and services platform — not a law firm, and nothing we provide is legal advice.
What we don't guarantee
We do not guarantee that all personal information can be found or removed, that results are complete, that data will never reappear, that public records can be removed, that spam will stop, or that identity theft will be prevented. Removal success varies by source, and some sources may refuse or fail to process requests.
The $1 five-day trial
The trial includes account access, an exposure scan, a risk score, partially masked results, and initial quick-win removal requests. Full initial cleanup and ongoing monitoring begin with a paid plan.
Automatic renewal
Unless you cancel before your trial ends, the plan you selected continues automatically at the price shown at checkout ($12.99/month or $99/year Individual; $19.99/month or $149/year Family, unless otherwise stated). Before you pay $1, we show today's charge, the trial length, the renewal price and date, and how to cancel. By starting the trial you authorize these charges until you cancel.
Cancellation
Cancel online from account settings in one click — no phone call required. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not automatically refund prior charges. After cancellation, paid features end at the close of the billing period and active cleanup or monitoring stops.
Refunds
The refund policy will be finalized before launch. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@edgefocus.com.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate information; use EdgeFocus lawfully; submit only information you're authorized to submit; keep your credentials secure; don't attempt to access other users' data, scrape or attack the service, or use it to stalk, harass, or target anyone.
Authorizations
By starting a scan you authorize EdgeFocus to use the information you provide to search for possible exposure on people-search sites, data brokers, and related public sources. By starting a paid plan (or authorizing cleanup) you authorize EdgeFocus to prepare, submit, and track opt-out, deletion, or removal requests on your behalf where available. Some sources require your direct participation; we'll guide you when they do.
Family plans
Family plans cover two total people: you plus one authorized household member. You confirm you have authority to submit their information; for minors, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian.
California DROP
For California users, EdgeFocus provides guidance and status tracking for the state's DROP platform. Unless explicitly stated, EdgeFocus does not submit DROP requests directly on your behalf.
Service changes, termination, disclaimers
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, with notice where required; supported sites and workflows evolve. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or create legal, security, or operational risk. EdgeFocus is provided 'as is' and 'as available.'
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdgeFocus is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Governing law and venue will be finalized before launch.
